FAQ

Everything you need to know.

How does Kage detect new follows?

Kage periodically scans the following list of monitored Twitter accounts. When a new follow is detected that wasn't in the previous scan, it sends an instant notification to your Discord server or DMs.

What commands does Kage have?

Kage has six commands: /monitor to start tracking, /unmonitor to stop, /list to see all monitored accounts, /usage to check your limits, /premium to view tier info, and /ping to check latency.

Does it support DM notifications?

Yes. Kage can send follow alerts directly to your DMs as well as to server channels. You choose the destination when setting up a monitor.

What happens if someone refollows?

Kage uses additive tracking to prevent refollow spam. Once a follow has been recorded, it won't trigger a duplicate notification even if the user unfollows and refollows.

How many accounts can I monitor?

It depends on your tier. Free users get 1 DM monitor and 50 shared server monitors. Premium gets 10 DM / 200 server. Ultimate gets 50 DM / 500 server.

How fast is the refresh interval?

All tiers get a 60-second refresh interval. Kage uses intelligent pagination to efficiently scan large following lists without hitting rate limits.

What if an account doesn't exist?

Kage validates the Twitter username before setting up a monitor. If the account doesn't exist, it'll let you know immediately with an error message.

How do I upgrade my tier?

Use the /premium command to see all available tiers and benefits. Contact the bot owner to upgrade your tier.
